It Is The 5th Anniversary Of Jodifur-Contest

by Jodifur on November 16, 2011

I can hardly believe it.  I have been writing this nonsense on the internet for 5 whole years!  This thing that started as "yeah maybe, I'll have a blog," has continued for 5 years!  5 years!  That is half the length of my marriage!  One year younger than Michael!  The wood anniversary!

As is the tradition around here, I'm going to run a totally unsponsored, out of my pocket contest.  Leave a comment with one of your favorite posts that I've written from this past year and you are entered to win either a itunes gift card or a Starbucks gift card.  Contest closes Sunday, November, 20th at 5 pm.  I will pick two winners on Monday, November 21, randomly.

Hint: I have a favorite posts page.

I enjoy reading all your posts. You are honest and articulate. As a Mom to many boys I can sympathize and understand the difficulties you go through. Congrats on 5 years and hope to see you again in 5 more!!

My favorite is the one about rolling with the punches. It’s something I struggle with every day. It’s nice to know other people have trouble coping.

I love ‘I Like Your Love.’ Such a wonderful sentiment expressed, that reminds us to appreciate the small moments.

I’m a relatively new reader so I’m just gonna say how much I enjoy the Friday shoes! And I was glad to read this summer that I was not alone in suffering an ant invasion.

I liked the post when you bought a car on your own (June? July?). Because that is totally something I would do. Or at least dream of doing.

Happy five years friend.
Um this will sound really lame…but you do know I’ve read for years, so I’ll use it anyway.
Yesterday’s post was my favorite. It thrills me that you are to a good place about Michael and school. I want to go hug that teacher of his for you both. Truly.

I think my favorite might be the last. He will get there. I have followed you and Michaels struggles. My daughter had a lot of similar struggles and 1st grade was like a lightbulb went off. She is now in 2nd and doing fantastic! I wish the same for Michael

Happy 5 years!! Yay!
One of my favorites that I think on again is “Having an Only”. It’s a very honest look at your feelings and I like that. :)

I do love your Friday shoe posts (and I will at some point send you some pictures), but I really liked “Good Enought is Good Enough”. It was posted on my birthday (another bonus) and not only a great message for Michael, but I also love reading letters moms write for their children.

I liked “When Life Changed in Five Minutes”
I have had my own five minutes of life-altering words on the other end of a telephone and I appreciate your positivity.
Happy five years!

I really like “My Love List.” It’s so positive and includes things both great and small. However, I cannot get behind Juicy sweat suits! ;)
