Many moons ago LL sent me these for Shoe Friday.
And I wanted them more than anything. And then, a reader emailed me to tell me she saw them on sale in the Georgetown Kate Spade boutique. Literally, the next day, my husband was laid off. Expensive shoe purchases were tabled. In fact, all purchases were tabled.
But I never forgot the shoes.
A few weeks ago I went back to katespade.com to discover they are sold out of that line of shoes. But I found them on amazon. Kate Spade New York Women's Karolina Pump
And they have them in red.
I have this thing about red heels.
And they are still $298. And we still have a job loss, a possible totaled car, and ants. And for the record, I have never spent $300 on shoes. I'm not sure I have ever spent $100 on shoes.
But look how pretty. And the black pair with the sparkly heel may be the perfect evening shoe.
Save me from my myself.

I love the red ones. I really don’t like that silly putty coloured pair, though. Well, except for the heel. The heel is pretty.

Oh my. LOVE. I like the red and the black, and well, the nude too. I would like to get a job, just so I have a reason to wear those nude heels.
So, I’m the fan that let you know about the purchase at the Kate Spade store in Georgetown. And I have to say…I haven’t regretted buying them. They aren’t so silly putty-ish in real life color by the way. They are a great nude color.
Those red shoes are gorgeous! And the black! I blew all my shoe money on the one pair so will have to wait now. Sigh. Good for you for being so patient–I believe you’ll be rewarded!

So, guess who bought those shoes-even from the Georgetown store?! That’s right, I did! Kate Spade did a search to find the shoe for me several weeks ago. I am on their mailing list and had a 30% off code. They are AMZING. I have 3 pairs of kate spade heels and they are all fantastic. My favorite may be the Charm peep toes-glitter & pink, what’s not to love?
Oh, and by the way, all the heels I have bought from kate spade (all on super sale) have been extremely worth every penny. Well made, cushioned, fantastic. It’s totally worth it to save up for them.
