There is some heavy stuff going around these parts, some big choices and some big changes.

But today, my husband turns 40.

And tonight good friends are coming over for good food and wine and beer and I'm not going to think about that for as long as I can.

Happy 40th Birthday to the man that I am so glad I married, for better and for worse.

I hope your birthday is like bubbles on a Spring day to a child. With wine.
