Snowverkill
Pepco lied, we are home. I'm just hoping the power stays on through the next snow blast. We are expecting another 10-20 inches overnight and I obviously moved to Buffalo and did not realize. This whole winter thing is so 2009.
Many thanks to my BFF (who ironically does not read this blog or know it exists) and my parents who were all set to take me in as well, again, but our power came back on. Our neighborhood cheered for the Pepco crew. (If you follow me on twitter you know the Pepco guy and I have gotten into quite a little tussle, but come on, could he be more glib?)
So I'm hoping to get to all the stuff I was going to do during these snow days. Michael's birthday invites, his 5 year montage, (how is it possible this child is going to be 5?), and maybe just some quality time with the family that is not spent going pillar to post looking for heat. One can only hope right? Right?
We are apparently calling this storm snowverkill. We have survived snowpocalypse and snowmagadeon, and here comes snowverkill.
I'm over anything that begins with the word snow. I just want to wake up tomorrow and still have power. That is not asking for much, or is it?

Another 10-20 inches? ZOMG! We are supposed to get 10 by tomorrow night and I'm praying they are way off. So glad your power is on, praying it holds for you guys!!

You guys are getting killed with snow. My dad sent some pictures where it was up to his waist. Un-freakin'-believable.

DUDE, I will happily randomly take on Pepco for you any time. That guy was infuriatingly useless and TOTALLY GLIB. And that is unattractive in a tweeter. I am so happy you guys have power, and are safe at home.
Also, how did I not know that Lady and Michael are the same age? I agree, 5 years old already seems unreasonable.

Personally I am all for naming this storm Snowpocalypse3D because, could it get any more in our face?

So glad your power came back on and I'm hoping ours doesn't go out during this storm! Fingers crossed for both of us that lights stay on and we remain connected!

Good luck. I've never gotten power back that quickly. Nice to know that the system works someplace.
