Camping.
Because remember, I don't camp, in any form.
But my playgroup, which Michael has been a part of since he was 6 weeks old, decided that it would be oh so much fun for 6 toddlers and all the families to go camping. Like for real. With tents. And bugs. And no showers. And the outside.
Doug is going, with Michael. Michael thinks this is the best idea he has ever heard. I am just hysterically laughing as Doug gets the camping emails because I am left out of all communications related to it. I may go for dinner. And smores.
But then I will be home. With wine. And bad tv.
I predict they will also be home by 10 pm.

Camping is only camping if you’re in the middle of the Canadian Rockies and there’s a roaring river nearby where you can keep your beer cold.
Sigh. I miss those days…
Camping in France is a joke. There’s no wilderness and no fire pit. Just a spot you can put your tent and if you’ve got noisy neighbors, then you’re SOL.

omg! i am so with you on the not camping part. my brother took me, my daughter, and his daughter camping ONCE when we visited him in colorado. i remember his exact words. NEVER AGAIN! saying yes to smores first. then wine. and bad tv. followed by more wine.

Are you kidding me? A weekend (or even just a night) in your new house with no kid? Stay up late, eat whatever you want, watch lots of adult tv. Heaven!
