There Is Something About Dancing With A Four Old That Makes It All Better

by Jodifur on July 1, 2009

Have you guys discovered MamaPop radio yet?  That little doohickey on the side of MamaPop with songs the writers pick?  Well, it totally intimidates me because they are all music snobs, and well, I'm not.  I like bad music.

June's picks have come and gone, I think, but my friend Amy picked a song Michael and I can't stop dancing to.  It's an oldie.  But I pick him up and swing him around until I'm so dizzy I can't remember my name and what the problem was in the first place.  And I feel better.

Make your own kind of music. Not a bad lesson I think.

I’m a big fan of the dance around the living room. It’s great as a distraction measure. And what a fun tune! I just made a Pandora station based on this song. So far? LOVE!

I know what you mean about bad taste in music, lol. Darin likes all kinds of indie bands and puts together cool and eclectic playlists on his iPod. I like to sing along with old Elton John songs on the radio.

Wow, a Mama Cass song I didn’t know. You’re right, both in that it’s a great song to dance to with your kids AND a great lesson.
