Ok I get it. I'm boring. And whiny. So I'll reward you for sticking with me. With pictures.
Michael's camp had cooking week last week. Complete with a chef hat.
And as someone not so politely reminded me yesterday, I do in fact have a roof over my head. And many do not. I have a beautiful family and my health, for the most part. Things can always be worse.
Like yesterday, when I thought Michael broke my iPhone. Stay tuned for the whining on that one.

I have to remind myself often of just how lucky I am. But a broken iPhone? My heart goes out to you.
I enjoy your house posts. Sometimes life is a struggle. Your struggle is selling your house. There’s no reason to feel bad about writting about it. I love real estate so I find your posts really interesting!

So cute! My 3 y/o took a cooking class last summer, and it was the cutest thing I had ever seen (until soccer started). I think you should whine away– I’d give my left arm to sell my town house, and I know exactly where you’re coming form!

Well that chef’s hat is the cutest thing I’ve seen all day.
And whining is relative. So WHAT if someone else’s situation is worse? You’re not saying that you have the hardest life just that this your life right now and some parts of it suck. Selling a house? SUCKS. Even if you do get a new house out of it at the end.

and you can look back on these pictures and see your empty shelves in the background and chuckle that you were so worried at the time about selling your house. ah! the gift of perspective you will one day have.
Whenever you are going through shit, the world keeps on going and everything decent and good happens to everyone else and is magnified. Counting your blessings is wonderful – but sometimes you are so stressed you can’t remember how to count period. Some people don’t get that and it’s really annoying.
I’m okay with the drama queen whining. I do it all the time.

Ech, whatevs. Whine away – I tell myself that when I read a whiny blog, I’m saving someone else from hearing a whiny tale. We all need to wallow in self-pity sometimes to help us appreciate what we have; it’s sort of like we need to suck it up through winter so we really appreciate summer.
