Same thing gong on here! I’ve dumped, given away, donated to charity resale and even have a Cluttercast coming up. I *thought* I sold some old dishes on Craig’s List, but the buyer blew me off. Ugh. I knew he sounded too good to be true.

Haven’t moved since 1994 a couple of years after marriage. Moved from a tiny townhouse to a bigger house in the country. Husband and I each had all our childhood keepsakes — in fact both sets of parents insisted we pick up our stuff. Still trying to unpack boxes/declutter. Luckily we have a large storage room. I’m a packrat by nature.
With children’s clothes, games, and books, I consign. I’m more ruthless with new purchases than with something from the past.
My neighbors used a pod last year when they renovated their kitchen. It sat on their driveway for 9 months!
