These Are Words I Didn’t Expect To Speak After I Got Married

by Jodifur on May 26, 2009

I'm on the market.

Or my house is.

I have my Realtor insisted upon seasonal flag.

And matching welcome mat.

Ironically, not bought from the same store.

All of our work is done.  We did everything the Realtor told us to.  It is now out of our hands.  I am not in control and I hate that.

Please, please, just sell.

The not having control thing definitely sucks. I had problems dealing with that aspect of things. Wishing you lots of luck!

Fingers crossed for you!
Fresh baked cookies … worked the 5 times we moved / sold our home. In this market, maybe put a bowl of water with cinnamon and vanilla mixed into the water. Heat your oven to 200 and put the bowl with the water / mixture in it. You house will smell like cinnabons. Mmmmmmmmm……….

The realtor made you get one of those flags!? Hope it works! Good luck, I know it’s awful.

Zesting a lemon in a room makes it smell great for a long, long time. That’s the only advice my realtor gave me. That’s probably why we still live in the house we tried to sell. Well that, and the fact that we listed our house at the precise moment the California housing market went to shit. But, you know.
Sounds like you’re far more prepared than we ever were. Good luck.

Ugh, I know this is nerve wracking. And keeping the house clean so people can drop by and look at it. Here’s hoping you can sell soon.
