Maybe If You Are Really Nice To Me I'll Take You To A Chinese Restaurant
Michael's school had a Mother's Day tea last week. With plants and iced tea and trail mix and homemade cards.
And the kids sang a song and wrote lists about the best things about their moms.
The other kids talked about how their moms gave great hugs or played games with them or tucked them in at night. Micheal said it was because I take him to Chinese restaurants. So apparently it is not just the fact that I drive him places that makes me so great, it is the specific places I drive him.
I am the best mom ever.
So maybe if I take my kids out for Chinese food they would be nice to me?

Hm. I take my kids out for Chinese fairly regularly...but I get no props for it.

See, we don't take our kids out. We make the Chinese food come to us. Does that count?

I wish my kids would say that!! They complain and say they forgot what home cooked meals taste like then beg me to take them to grandmas LOL Glad you had a great time!

Heh heh! I bet this will make Michael laugh when you tell him what he said 12 years from now.
Is trail mix another achievement that ancient Chinese civilization gave to us? I've always wondered.... ;)
