I'm starting a new feature on Jodifur, Shoe Friday. Send me pictures of your most awesome shoes and I will post them on Fridays. And, include a blog link if you have one.
Why, you ask? Well, I also learned at BlogHer to pay attention to my traffic and that post got more hits then almost anything else I've ever written. Also, to give credit where credit is due, it was Doug's idea. Yes, the same Doug that stole my fantasy football win, he does have some good ideas.
We all need a little fluff on Fridays, especially lately. So, Shoe Friday, email your pics to jodi@lucidphoenix.com.
And to start, here are another pair of mine. I almost always wear heels, but my feet have been killing me from Lyme/Lupus/early onset Arthritis/whatever the hell is wrong with me so I recently bought some flats. I like the shoes, but my legs look stumpy in them.

How about “ugly, I won’t go out in public in these but they are special in their own way and fine for at home use” shoes? Do those count?

I love your shoes. I am, however, not really to be called a girl, I think, because I only own 6 pairs of shoes, and 3 of them are sandals. One pair is my sneakers with my fancy orthotics in them, thanks to my messed up ankle. The other two are land’s end mocs that are at least 6 years old and look it. Oh, wait, I forgot the shoes I got for my sister’s wedding – they are flat and dumpy old-lady shoes, but they were comfortable to get my ankle through the day.
Can I send in a pic of my socks instead? ‘Cause who doesn’t love bright red fuzzy socks? Right?

Currently I have a shoe uniform: three pairs of Merrell’s in three different colors. Not very exciting but very comfortable!
