I do have Lyme, doctor is 100% sure. But they also think the Lyme caused the dizziness and vertigo so I do not have two things wrong with me. The doctor expects a full recovery with little chance of relapse or chronic issues. Funny thing is, I haven't been dizzy for 5 days and then I got dizzy yesterday, right after I finished working out. I'm taking that as a sign to mean I shouldn't be working out.
What exactly I am going to do about the weight gain that is going to cause is a whole other issue.
Good News Finally

I had vertigo last summer, from “labrynthitis”, an inner ear infection, that is viral, so no antibiotics for me. Here was my cure:
1. Always be able to see outside. (My office has no windows…not a good combination.)
2. Play video games. (My children loved this cure!)
3. When you start feeling dizzy, move your hands back and forth on either side of your head – kind of like that “you’re running through the forest, and BAM you hit a tree” thing we always did as kids. For some reason, the extreme motion in my peripheral vision really helped, especially when I was somewhere without sunlight/distant perspective.

Although this sucks, I am glad that you only have one thing.
I think that you need to become the mommy blogging advocate for Lyme’s disease and have a big foundation send you on vacations to swanky places.
I’m a big pray-er and I am not kidding when I say that I will ardently pray that in addition to getting better soon that you do not gain any weight. Of course you are thin and of ideal weight now, but why in the heck should a woman in her 30s have to deal with such a sucky side effect?
I have a rosary, I know how to use it and I think that Mary will help out my gorgeous Jewish girlfriend. Especially since was one too.

I’m glad to hear that it was caused by the Lyme Disease so it’s treatable.

So sorry about the Lyme. But I’m really commenting on your afternoon post that showed up in Google Reader. I think you should post it. We all need to speak up.
I’m praying that mt November 5th hangover will be from celebrating, not from grieving.

Well hopefully when you are all cured, the Lyme disease will go away and you’ll be all back to normal.
I don’t work out and I’m going to start telling people it is because of dizziness. Because “I’m lazy” isn’t a really good excuse.
