Runaway Bunny
On Saturday we took Michael to see Goodnight Moon at a local children's theater. I have no idea why, but Michael decided he only wanted to sit on my lap. This is unheard of, if he wants a lap, he normally picks Doug's. But for the entire show, Michael sat transfixed on my lap. Except for the occasional whisper of "this is so cool," he was silent. And he allowed me to pull him back against me and cuddle him for a whole hour. No yelling, no time outs, no "I want Daddy," just him and me watching the play. And it made everything else, all the stress, all the tears, all the difficulties, all the times you think I just can't tell you to put your shoes on one more time, it made it all worth it.
I've started to try and spending a few minutes snuggling with OS in the morning after he gets dressed because it seems to make the whole day run smoother for both of us!

Aw I'm so glad you had a day like this with him! I love moments when Isabella actually lets me cuddle with her...

Yay! That's so sweet! It's because he knows you're mommy. You'll always be there for him for everything!
