Because that’s what makes it believable

by Jodifur on February 26, 2008

Upon watching the 18th million episode of Wonder Pets on Saturday, Doug says, "oh, I get it. They are classroom pets. That's how they get to go out and have adventures and no one notices."
Right, because the idea of a duck, turtle and hamster getting out of their cages, building a fly boat, donning capes and becoming super heroes totally makes sense once you put that piece in.

We are crazy for the Wonder Pets. The fact that he just understood the classroom pets aspect is hilarious!

I personally am NOT a fan of the Wonder Pets. It all happened after watching the episode involving the puppy who needed to pee and the end where all the animals just start peeing in the backyard to celebrate.

I cannot STAND that show. Their voices are ridiculously high pitched and one of them lisps which I think is wrong. We should be teaching kids proper diction.

Argghhhh…..

thanks doug. i get it.

i find all of these new children’s show to have a totally wacked out sense of reality. wait a minute, most children shows have this.

i recall: care bear stare.
i showed my husband a youtube of them doing it, to which he replied, “why the hell do the bad guys even try to come back again because the care bears can always do their stare…and besides, why then don’t the care bears just stare at the bad guys and get it over with since it works every damn time.”

he’s got a point. now on to flying in my magical dream boat…

ahaaha, this would be when I would say “you need to suspend reality a little”

I find my husband and I get into discussions about how cartoon and movies are not actually plausible and then we look at each other and one of us has to remind ourself to suspend reality.

btw, for some reason all my emails to you are getting kicked back. :(

Hahahaha! I do NOT get that show. I can wrap my mind around Dora and some others, but I don’t get Wonderpets. Which means that’s all my niece ever wants to watch.

That’s hysterical.

Nick’s big thing is watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse… and every single time it’s on, he has to ask “How come Goofy wears clothes and is talking… but Pluto is just a regular dog?” And if he asks one more time about why Donald doesn’t wear pants I may kill him.
