Hey everybody…Amalah here, updating for Jodi.
Michael has been admitted to the hospital — that "fever of unknown origin" continued to rage all weekend, and then he developed a weird rash, and hey! You know how all the baby books and doctors always tell you that fevers are so harmless most of the time and there's like, only three serious things it could be and they are so rare so calm down, neurotic mama lady?
Yeah. It looks like Michael might have one of those things (Kawasaki disease), though they aren't sure yet. The very very very good news is that Jodi and Doug got him to the doctor very early, which makes all the difference in the world (guess who's been doing a LOT OF GOOGLING OVER HERE during the past 24 hours?). And! His fever broke late last night. All good, all very good.
They are running more labs this morning — thoughts and prayers and love are appreciated, and Jodi will update again when she can.

So sorry Michael is sick! Here’s hoping they get the fever under control, find out the cause and get him all fixed up soon. Poor little guy.
