you hit three grocery stores in 5 days. Yep, Costco Friday, Giant Sunday, and Trader Joe's on Monday.
I'm hosting three events this week. I had a 'ladies' night out jewelry thingy last night. It's like Avon or Tupperware but with jewelery and wine. Lot's of fun, but a friend of mine and I decided we had to make enough food for an army. Friday I'm having my regular playgroup here, and this weekend I'm arranging a spa bachlorette party and I'm in charge of snacks. So 3 grocery stores in 5 days.
I haven't been to Trader Joe's in like three years. I know, blasphemy. But the closest one is 20 minutes away, and I would literally have to drive past 5 grocery stores to go there. Now I do that for Harris Teeter, but for some reason I forgot the wonderland that is TJ's.
That store is amazing. I bought so much crap and spent less than $50. I think TJ's has won my heart back. Now I just have to figure out where I am putting it all.

I LOVE Trader Joe’s… I don’t have one close enough for me to visit on a regular basis and it makes me sad… I hear rumors we’re getting one next year… Anyway your weekend sounds lovely. I’m oh so jealous! And I go to Costco and Giant too:-) Thought they were just a Philly thing- guess not!

HAHA! We are -always- going to the store. I think we go 4 days out of the week. It’s all those little things that we run out of, or forgot to buy. Drives me crazy that we can’t just go once a week like we used to.
I want to take this challenge further, but I don’t know who to turn to. The parks we have on base are horrendous–everything is falling apart and rusting. They fix the BIG ones, but not the little ones on every block. *sigh* My hubby doesn’t even know who I should talk to.

Knowing what their prices are, understand that man went and spent $200+ on ..stuff that we, alone, will likely never, ever eat unless we have like a surprise party given for us at our own house. He’s also newly addicted to Fred Meyer’s. Ugh. I mean, yum but still: UGH.

I’m a big fan of Trader Joe’s. The one I go to though is pretty small. Last week we drove by a large one and stopped in to get some items that ours doesn’t have.
