Instead of working today and I'm going to the outlets, with my mom. Michael is in daycare.
I had to work on Monday, which I normally don't, so Michael went to an extra day of daycare. But, since I pay for today anyway, I figured why not? Have a fun day to myself.
I feel like I should I feel guilty, but I don't. Michael spent 4 days in daycare instead of the normal 3, and I totally could have spent the day with him today. Instead I chose shopping. Calm, peaceful adult shopping, without chasing a toddler or listening to "I want to go home."
I should have wine with lunch.

I did that last week and it was one of the best days I’ve had in a while. It’s great to get away from the kids and when you don’t have family in the immediate area you have to get creative!
