I have been waiting for a phone call for a week now telling me that a trial I have tomorrow is off. The attorney told me last week we would settle and he would fax me a document. No document. I have left 3 messages for him, no phone call. I have witnesses that want to know what is going on. In all honesty, if this trial is going to happen, I need to prepare for it.
How unprofessional is this behavior? Could you get away with it at your job?

Same thing is happening to me!
I email to set up my month for teaching. I get an email two weeks later telling me that I’m not teaching until March 19th (that will be more than one month between sessions!).
I sent an email to advisors at school and haven’t heard back since Feb. 11th with 2 emails. And, he’s never returned an email from me since May 2006.
The world must be in some communication wack. We prepared people must wait until the last minute. Argh.
