It's 1:21 am, and I'm awake. I've been trying to sleep since 9:30 pm. I'm frustrated, angry, and oh, so tired. Why can't I just sleep like a normal person?
I've tried reading, watching tv, and even a couple of other things to induce sleep, and nothing.
So, does this happen to you, and what do you do?
Michael is due to be up in 6 hours and I have to work tomorrow. At least I have lots of tivo.

I do the same things you do. And when none work, I read as many boards as possible on BabyCenter before I feel like my brain will fall out. Then I crawl back to bed, usually about 10 minutes before my alarm goes off… Sorry you had a rough night!

Sorry to hear about your insomnia…I had that from Thanksgiving through the New Year.
From your posts lately, it sounds like you’ve got a lot on your mind (rightfully so!).
I usually get up out of bed and write lists. Lots and lots of lists. Planning out things that don’t even need to be planned out yet. Writing out everything. It just gets my mind going and helps clear it. For some reason, I feel one step closer to getting whatever it is on my mind over with by writing it down.
Plus, it tires me out from writing.
Otherwise, I give myself a nice foot and chakra massage with some Burt’s Bees Rescue Ointment that I keep by the bed. A little under the nose keeps me breathing in deep.
